POPIA Notice

Purpose

This notice explains the website’s approach to personal information in the context of South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). It is not a substitute for COV Steelwork’s internal compliance documentation.

Project enquiries

The website’s enquiry builder runs in your browser and creates an email draft. It does not store your form entries in a website database. Information is transmitted to COV only if you decide to send the email.

Use of information

Information sent to COV may reasonably be used to understand your project, respond to the enquiry, prepare a quotation or continue project-related communication. Avoid including unnecessary identity numbers, banking information or other sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

Your choices

You can use the published telephone number instead of the form. You can also edit or remove any content from the email draft before sending it.
